If your dream is to fly a helicopter, you're in the right place! Eurotech Helicopter Flight Training School is known for the professionalism of its flight instructors and for the constant investment in infrastructure and fleet.
The primary goal of Eurotech's F.T.O. Helicopter Flight School is to help students obtain their Private Pilot License (PPL(H)) and, upon request, the Commercial Pilot License (CPL(H)) according to JAR-FCL regulations. With a PPL(H), students acquire the license to operate as a private helicopter pilot for non-commercial flights under visual flight rules. A CPL(H) allows pilots to operate helicopters engaged in commercial transport and aerial work.
With the Private Pilot License for helicopters (PPL(H)), students acquire the license to operate as a private pilot of single-engine helicopters for non-commercial flights under visual flight rules.
The course consists of approximately 100 hours of theory, covering the following subjects:
The Flight School provides all necessary educational materials for the course. Video conference lessons are also available at the new theory classroom at Caiolo base (SO).
As required by JAR FCL 2.125, obtaining the PPL(H) license requires a minimum of 50 flight hours, with 29 hours as dual command and the remainder solo.
Flight hours should be booked 1 or 2 days in advance, with the possibility to fly even on holidays, weather permitting. Practical lessons in IMC/S and Robinson's Safety Course are also included.
For theoretical sessions: To be scheduled according to students' needs. Typically, 2-3 hours one evening per week, focusing on specific lessons towards the end of the program to prepare for exam quizzes.
Theoretical classes are held at Caiolo (SO), Bresso (MI), and Vercelli (VC) bases.
With a CPL(H), pilots can operate helicopters engaged in commercial transport and aerial work. The CPL(H) course, after obtaining the private license and reaching 155 hours, includes 35 hours of flight with an instructor and dedicated theoretical lessons. The training helicopters used are Robinson R22 Beta / Beta II.

It is therefore possible to conduct machine transfers on the following helicopters:
Ariane's Helicopter Flight School's e-learning program allows students, wherever they are, to participate interactively in lessons, improving their knowledge of flight procedures and systems. Video conference lessons are conducted at the new theory classroom at Caiolo base (SO), enabling remote participation in all stages of the learning process. Additionally, e-learning serves as an excellent tool for distance support in study activities and exam preparation.
